2 Week Pictures

Litter 06/03/08

On a sad note, one of the males died today. He was a little smaller than the rest of the litter. We're not exactly sure what happened, but when I checked them at 5:30 today he wasn't breathing and was cold. Bailey didn't like the fact that I had to take him away, we tried to rub his chest and breath into his mouth but he was gone.

We still have 6 healthy puppies...from what I can tell there are 4 females and 2 males left. Here are the pictures I took yesterday.

I will update at least once a week with pictures.

They're here!!!!

7 Puppies! From what I can tell there are 4 females and 3 males. They are all eating well and moving around a lot already. Momma (Bailey) isn't letting me move them too much and they're little pigs so every time I move them to count each sex they get jumbled up again so I will update with definite amount of each sex and update with the markings. I do know that there are 3 females with white patches.

New Puppies

Our new litter should be arriving any day now...Bailey is HUGE and waddling, so we're just keeping her comfortable and waiting until she shows signs of labor within 24 hours. We will update once the puppies are here and post how many of each sex, any markings, etc. Keep checking back!
